We are proud to announce the promotion of Scott Goglia’s to Vice President, Field Operations effective April 2nd, 2026.
Scott’s journey with Griffith Company is a true testament to his growth and dedication. Joining our Orange County Region in August 1987 as a Laborer, he started with the basics—learning how to read an engineering ruler and use a banjo. By 1991, he was a Foreman, and by 1994 he became the youngest ever to be named Foreman of the Year. In 2001, he made history again as our first-ever, two-time Foreman of the Year. After transitioning to the Southern Region in 2010, his leadership on the Berth 102 Project earned him Superintendent of the Year in 2011 and paved the way for his move to General Superintendent.
A Legacy of Growth
Under Scott’s tenure as General Superintendent, the Southern Region has seen impressive and disciplined growth:
Scale: Expanded from 12 foremen to a talented roster of 26.
Performance: Managed a surge from 15 active projects to a consistent 30–35, spanning both public and private sectors.
Innovation: Oversaw and supported our GPS implementation, turning it into a cornerstone of our construction success.
Profitability: Consistently delivered over 60% of the company’s total volume while remaining a top performer in profit margins.
Remarkably, throughout his entire career as a Superintendent and Foreman, Scott has had best in class cost control—beating the budget on every single project he has worked on. Beyond the stats, Scott has played a critical role in mentoring our Project and Area Superintendents and has been a key negotiator in our union relations.
In his new role, Scott will be supporting our operations teams across the company, specifically working closely with Construction Managers, General Superintendents, and Regional/Division Managers. He will establish and manage operational standards and policies, review ongoing financial performance to ensure targets are being hit, promote collaboration across work groups, and support the development and succession planning of field leadership teams.
Please join me in congratulating Scott on his well-deserved promotion. We look forward to his continued leadership in this extremely important role as we continue to build the future of Griffith Company.
Best regards,
Ryan J. Aukerman
