Vice President Field Operations

Scott Goglia
Scott’s journey with Griffith Company is a true testament to his growth and dedication. Joining our Orange County Region in August 1987 as a Laborer, he started with the basics—learning how to read an engineering ruler and use a banjo. By 1991, he was a Foreman, and by 1994 he became the youngest ever to be awarded Foreman of the Year. He transitioned to Southern Region in 2010, where his leadership on the Berth 102 Project earned him 2011 Superintendent of the Year Award and paved the way for his move to General Superintendent.
Under Scott’s tenure as General Superintendent, the Southern Region has seen an impressive, disciplined growth: Expanding from twelve foremen to a talented roster of 26. Scott has helped managed a surge from fifteen active projects a year to a consistent 30–35, spanning both public and private sectors across Southern California.
Scott oversaw and supported our Griffith’s GPS construction implementation, turning it into a cornerstone of our construction success. In addition, Scott is always looking at new innovations/processes to help improve Griffith Company, our owner team members, and the safety of our teams. He has played a critical role in mentoring our Project and Area Superintendents and has been a key negotiator in our union relations.
Scott supports our operations teams across the company, specifically working closely with Construction Managers, General Superintendents, and Regional/Division Managers. He manages operational standards and policies, review ongoing financial performance to ensure targets are being achieved, promotes collaboration across work groups, and supports the development and succession planning of field leadership teams.
