Brea, California – July 1, 2024 – Griffith Company is pleased to announce that the Griffith Company Board of Directors have selected Ryan Aukerman to be the company’s new President, effective July 1, 2024.
“Griffith Company has experienced several successful years under Ryan’s leadership in operations, and I am very proud to promote Ryan to the President’s seat of Griffith Company.” Said Jaimie Angus. “The President role for Griffith Company is a significant milestone in Ryan’s career and speaks to his hard work and dedication to the company.”
On his appointment, Mr. Aukerman commented, “Griffith Company truly has the most amazing men and women at all levels of our business, and I am honored and grateful for this opportunity. This company has been my family for the last 20 years and I am excited to lead the organization through new challenges and drive us to new opportunities in the next chapter of our evolution.”
Ryan will succeed Jaimie Angus, who has transitioned to CEO and Chairman of the Board, he held the role for Griffith Company from 2015 to 2024 and will continue to work closely with the executive management team throughout this transition.
About Ryan Aukerman
Mr. Aukerman joined Griffith Company in 2004 as a Project Engineer and quickly advanced to the role of Estimator/Project Manager in 2006. In 2010, he was promoted to Regional Manager and oversaw the company’s largest business unit, Southern Region. In 2013, Ryan was appointed to Vice President and most recently serving as Executive Vice President overseeing the day-to-day operations for the company, which role he has held since 2015.
Over his 20+ years with the company, Ryan has worked closely with a multitude of public and private owners and participated in alternative project delivery methods such as Design-Build, CMGC and Progressive Design-Build. Ryan has always demonstrated enthusiasm and an eagerness to continue to push the company to new levels.
Ryan earned a BS degree in Technology and Operations Management from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He has served on the AGC of California Los Angeles Regional Board and is currently serving as a State Director for AGC of California. As of January 2024, he was appointed to a position with the Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust Southwest as a management trustee and has been a member of the Caltrans Partnering Steering Committee since 2016.
With an understanding that there needs to be a solid investment in the future workforce within the industry, Ryan works to support the education foundation, Build California and interacts with multiple AGC Student Chapters in addition to his participation in Griffith’s own Internship program.
