Mike Carpenter recently joined the Griffith Company Team as the Manager for the new Environmental Services Division. Mike has 28 years of experience working within the environmental industry. His area of expertise is extensive and includes safely conducting waste management, waste treatment, recycling, transportation and disposal as well as environmental contracting.

Using the vast talent base of our existing team members, he manages environmental projects, both internally and externally, adding value to the existing client base and seeking new opportunities for projects and revenue growth.

Mike brings to his position an immense amount of experience in all levels of management and the ability to maximize productivity through planning, organization and market strategies. He brings strong team building skills, organizational qualities and interpersonal skills that improve operations.

He has an under graduate degree from University of Southern California (USC) in Business Administration (BS) and graduate degree from Cal State Fullerton in Environmental Science (MS).  He has also completed two programs via University California Irvine (UCI) in Hazardous Materials Site Assessment and Hazardous Materials Management.  He is currently trained per HAZWOPER under OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120
