$9 mil
Ontario International Airport
2001
Griffith Company began work on this $9 million contract in early 2001. As part of the project, our crews widened a two-lane road into a six-lane road with a median. Completing this work required the demolition of all toll booths, and construction of a post-tension box, reservoir and pump-station facilities. This in turn required the installation of 5,000 linear feet of storm drain and 4,500 linear feet of waterline. In addition to constructing 20,000 linear feet of curb and gutter, our crews dug 25,000 linear feet of dry utility joint trench, replaced 30,000 tons of crushed base and paved 26,000 tons of asphalt.
